Aurubis doesn't only produce copper and copper products but also precious metals. We offer fine gold with a purity of 99.99 % as granules and bars.

Today, gold is used in various sectors. Some examples for this are the jewelry industry, dental technology and the electronics industry. Furthermore, gold has always been a sought-after financial investment, which is used as a means of hedging against inflation.

Gold is only sold to commercial users/consumers. VAT is invoiced in the reverse charge procedure in accordance with Section 13b of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG).

As a processor of so-called conflict-free gold raw materials, Aurubis is certified as “Good Delivery” by the London Bullion Market Association. The most recent audit was conducted in December 2025 by Arche Advisors. The basis for this is the company’s own group-wide gold supply policy, which is based not only on the LBMA’s Gold Guidance but also on Annex II of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Conflict Minerals.
